📋 Summary: We collect only what you give us through contact and application forms. We use basic anonymous analytics. We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not store payment information.
What We Collect and Why
We collect information in two situations:
- Contact form submissions — When you use the contact form to reach a listed AI consultant, we collect your name, email, trade, business name, and message. This information is sent to the consultant you contacted via Formspree (our form processor) and forwarded to our business email. We do not store this data on our own servers beyond what Formspree retains under their privacy policy.
- Listing requests — When a provider asks us to add, correct, or remove their directory listing, we collect the name, email, business name, website, service area, and any details they send. This information is used solely to handle that request.
We do not require account creation to browse this site. We do not collect payment information directly — payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors under their own privacy policies.
Local AI Pro Searches
When you enter a zip code to find nearby AI consultants, we temporarily process that zip code (along with your selected trade) solely to display relevant providers within approximately 100 miles. The zip code is not stored on our servers, not linked to your personal identity, and is discarded after the search session ends. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or sharing beyond generating the on-page results.
Requesting an introduction. If, after searching, you choose to ask us to connect you with a specific consultant, we collect the email address you enter and record which consultant you asked about (along with your zip code and the type of help you selected). We pass your email to that consultant so they can reach out to you about helping your business. We do not email you ourselves, and we never sell your email address. Asking for an introduction is optional — you can also just visit a provider’s website without giving us anything.
Directory Listings and Opt-Out
Provider listings in our directory are compiled from publicly available information on each provider’s own website — such as the business name, the website URL, and the services they describe. We do not use logos or copy marketing text. Listings are informational and are not an endorsement.
To correct or remove a listing, email hello@theagenticaiindex.com or use the form at Manage your listing. We handle corrections and opt-out requests promptly.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages visitors view and which content is most useful. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first by design: it does not use cookies, does not track visitors across websites, does not store IP addresses or other personal identifiers, and does not build advertising profiles. The data we see is aggregated — pageviews, referring sources, country-level location, browser type, and device type — and we cannot identify individual visitors from it.

If we change analytics providers in the future or add additional tracking, we will update this policy.
Cookies
This site uses minimal session cookies for basic site functionality — for example, remembering that you dismissed the top announcement banner during your current visit. Our analytics do not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioral advertising networks. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Third-Party Sites
When you click a tool link and visit a software provider's website, you leave our site and are subject to that provider's privacy policy. We earn nothing from these links and receive no personal information about you from the provider.
Formspree
We use Formspree to process contact and application form submissions. Formspree stores form submissions on their servers according to their own privacy policy, which you can review at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. If you would like your form submission removed from Formspree's systems, contact us and we will request deletion on your behalf.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA): the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to delete it, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. Children's Privacy
This site is intended for adult business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Your Rights and Data Deletion
If you submitted a contact or application form through this site and want your information removed, contact us at hello@theagenticaiindex.com. We will delete the information from our records and request deletion from Formspree on your behalf within 10 business days.
Changes to This Policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes we will add a notice to the home page.
